Crosby G2130 bolt-type anchor shackles are designed with precision engineering to ensure safety, durability, and exceptional performance.

• Working load limit (WLL) and grade 6 are permanently marked on every shackle for easy identification and compliance.
• Forged, quenched, and tempered for maximum strength and reliability.

• Shackles with 85, 120, and 150-metric-ton capacities feature hot-dip galvanised bows with Dimetcote® and red-painted bolts.
• Sizes 3/8″ and below are mechanically galvanised for consistent protection.
• Fatigue is rated to endure 20,000 cycles at 1.5 times the WLL (1/3t – 55t).
• Approved for use in extreme temperatures, ranging from -40°C to 204°C.
• Meets or exceeds the requirements of ASME B30.26.
• Shackles rated 85 metric tons and larger are individually proof-tested to 2.0 times the WLL.
• Type Approval Certification in compliance with ABS 2016 Steel Vessel Rules and the ABS Guide for Certification of Lifting Appliances. Certificates available upon request (may include additional charges).
• 3.1 Certification is standard for Charpy and statistical proof tests for sizes ranging from 3.25t to 25t, conforming to DNV 2.7-1 and EN13889 standards.
• DNV Type Approval for Crosby G-2130OC anchor shackles (3.25t to 25t). These shackles undergo statistical proof and impact tests at 31 ft-lb (42 Joules) at -20°C, with certification available on request.
• All other 2130 shackles can meet the Charpy impact requirements of 31 ft-lb (42 Joules) average. at -20°C when requested at the time of order.
• Fully compliant with Federal Specification RR-C-271H, Type IVA, Grade A, Class 3, except contractor-specific provisions.
